SH 99 Grand Parkway Segment E groundbreaking ceremony took place on September 13, 2011. Segment E of SH 99 is approximately 15 miles from just south of IH 10 to US 290. J.D. Abrams, L.P. was awarded the section from Bridgeland Lake Parkway to Morton Road. A total of four contractors will be constructing Segment E in various sections, but the project is expected to be completed in 28 months.
