The new United Services Organization (USO) center on Biggs Army Airfield opened its doors for the first time on April 15, 2010. The new USO facility in El Paso is the largest in the world. It was built to meet the rapid growth expected on Fort Bliss. The FirstLight Federal Credit Union provided the construction of the building it shares with the USO and local businesses contributed to the remaining costs.
