More great news from our team on the BorderWest Expressway. Along with our partners Kiewit, the team wrapped up setting wall panels in a very difficult and demanding environment. When complete, the BorderWest project will improve the safety and reliability of the transportation system of El Paso for generations to come.
Here’s some facts about the size of the task:
Wall work began in September of 2015 and finished in February of 2019
Austin PRESTRESS a division if ABRAMS, manufactured the panels
900,000-SF of MSE Wall Panels Set
1,264,000-TN of Select Backfill Placed
