US Army Corp of Engineer Awards

 

J.D. Abrams, L.P. was recognized by the US Army Corp of Engineers on December 7, 2010 for multiple awards. We were first presented the “Million Hour Award” for successful completion of 1,008,336 exposure hours with no lost time accidents on multiple including the IBCT 1 & 2, BCT 1 and BCT 3 on Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.  J.D. Abrams, L.P. was also presented the “Zero Lost Time Achievement Award FY10” for successful completion of 888,692 exposure hours with no lost time accidents on the IBCT 1 & 2 projects also located on Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX.

 

Oscar Ortega, a J.D. Abrams, L.P. employee owner, was also presented the Lone Star Award by the US Corp of Engineers. Mr. Ortega took action that prevented injury to an employee of another company. He was awarded for his exceptional efforts in responding quickly and his true dedication to safety.
