J.D. Abrams, L.P. accomplished a major milestone by opening the first section of Spur 601 on May 29, 2009. Remarks by company chairman, Jon F. Abrams, included comments of appreciation for the employees for all of their hard work and dedication as well as a public announcement of gratitude to those individuals that, with out their help, the Spur simply would not exist. “We have come a long way, but we still have far to go and not much time to get there” Jon Abrams stated.
